Manual QA Engineer

On behalf of Diib (, TurnKey is looking for a QA Engineer to join us as a member of our technology team. You’ll be reporting directly to the QA Lead.

Diib is a company based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. Diib’s mission is to make internet marketing more clear for individuals who don’t know anything about it. Diib helps small and medium businesses to find new ways to grow with Actionable Analytics, Industry-Based Ranking and Custom Learning Tracks. 250k websites use Diib. The product is AI for SEO and other internet marketing aspects.

Key Role Responsibilities: 

  • Reviews and analyzes system specifications;
  • Creating test artifacts
  • Functional (manual) testing
  • Testing new and existing functionality developed by an Agile team
  • Identify, log, and communicate software defects through JIRA, Confluence
  • Analyzing test results and reporting to Sr QA and development team;
  • Develop effective strategies and test plans;
  • Conducts post-release/ post-implementation testing.
  • Cross-browser,  cross-platform, mobile testing
  • Proactively assist developers to find and solve development and production software issues through effective collaboration


  • Experience with testing web-based applications 3+ years
  • Understanding of technologies: HTTP, JSON, REST
  • Experience with testing REST APIs (Postman)
  • Familiarity with web debugging tools (Chrome dev. tools, Fiddler etc.)
  • Experience with Atlassian suite products such as JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence
  • Good knowledge of different testing methods and techniques
  • Good ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
  • Upper Intermediate level of English

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Java based testing frameworks (TestNG, Selenide)
  • Experience with IDEs (Intellij IDEA, Eclipse)
  • Basic Git commands knowledge
  • Basic SQL
  • Experience with Jenkins CI tool
  • Understanding of Agile methodology
